Cottage Sign – Rhainds

After some discussions at work, a co-worker wanted a new cottage sign to replace the current one he had up. It had to fit the existing location; hung from chains under a roofed structure.

I was up to the task and came up with this design. This pushed the limits of my CNC as it is 21″ x 24″ almost 2″ thick. To add a personal touch, I used red cedar that I sawn on my portable sawmill almost 20 years ago.
